Here Arjuna is asserting that all Lord Krishna is stating is absolutely factual and not any metaphorical description.

This means that every word that Lord Krishna speaks is the absolute reality and His extraordinary and infinite glories and illustrious qualities and phenomenal attributes are always manifest and eternal.

Thus Lord Krishna is known as Bhagavan the complete possessor of the six perfections: total power, total beauty, total wisdom, total wealth, total fame and total renunciation.

Neither the devaḥ or devas nor the Dānavas or demons being of limited understanding have the ability to understand Him and perceive His identity in full.

On verses 10.9–10.17

“ब्रह्म परिपूर्णम् - अथ कसमुद्भूते परं ब्रह्म | बृहति बृहयन्ति च इति हि श्रुतिः | बृह बृह बृहि बृहौ इति पठन्ति | परमं यो महद् ब्रह्म इति च | विविधमासीद् इति विभुः | तथाहि वारुणशाखायाम् - विभु प्रभु प्रथमं मेहवानत इति | स ह्येव प्राभवद् विविधोऽभवत् इति | सोऽकामयत बहु स्यां प्रजयेय इत्यदेशः ||” - Brahman is entirely complete. Why is Brahman called the supreme? Because, He is complete and makes others also complete, say the Scriptures. बृह बृहि from these roots to suggest to expand. “Supreme is the Great Brahman”, thus it is said. Since it assumes various forms, it is said to be all-pervading, thus in Varuna section. “All pervading, Energiser the First among all. He, verily, expands to become the many”. “He willed, Let Me be many”. “विविधभूतयो विभूतयः |” विभूतयः means विविधभूतयः various manifest forms.

14 'All this I hold to be true that Thou hast spoken unto me, O Keśava. For, neither the Gods nor the Danu-born (Demons), O Lord Blessed, comprehend Thy Manifestation. (163)

Now, these rays beaming from Thy words have spread out and cleared up the mystery of the uncouth paths held out by the sages. These talks of the sages did indeed sow the seed of knowledge that had gone deep into my heart. Now has the seed, moistened by Thy grace, sprouted into fruition by Thy converse divine. The sages like Nārada poured out their teachings that flowed into river-streams to meet the mighty main, that swells with the Majestic bliss of Thy divine theme. Meritorious acts in all my life, have it not in their power to give what Thou, my master, art blessing me with. For, I have been ever hearing the elders extol your glory to little avail, and the dark night of soul lingered on; the one thing wanting was the light of Thy grace. Hence just as one's efforts are crowned with success when luck attends him, so learning and lore all in one, comes to final fruition with the gift of the master's grace. The gardener tends a garden, toiling day after day and sweating, to water the trees; yet the trees yield fruit only on the arrival of the spring. A patient can taste a sweet thing as sweet only when the fever abates. A drug is not sweet until it cures the evil and restores health. Sense, vital breath and speech—the all and the one, fulfil their being when spirit moves them. In the same way the scriptures, learning and excellence in Yoga path, are adorned with their masterful crown, only when the master utters his grace and benediction on them. With these words, Arjuna went into raptures of that experience which made him dance like a toy baby with the conviction of inner light and went on, “Oh God, Thy words are verily come home to me: Oh Thou the giver of liberation—Thy divine being is past the wit of either Gods or demons. I have now realized that in sore plight would he find himself who ventured upon knowing thee by his own reckoning, uninitiated by Thy word.”

'Sarvametadṛtaṁ manye yanmāṁ vadasi keśava'—'K' stands, for Brahmā, the creator, 'A' stands for, Lord Viṣṇu, the preserver, 'Īśa' stands for, Lord Śaṅkara, the destroyer and 'Va' stands for 'Vapu' the body. So 'Keśava' stands for the trinity of Brahmā, Viṣṇu and Śaṅkara. It means, that He is the creator, preserver and destroyer, of the entire creation.

By using the term 'Yat' (which), Arjuna means that whatever the Lord has said to him, from the seventh to the ninth chapters, he holds as true. By 'Etat' (this), he means to say, that he also believes as true, whatever He has said, in the tenth chapter about His divine glories and power. It means, that He is the creator, conductor and the supreme Lord, of the entire creation, without any doubt.

In the Discipline of Devotion, importance is attached to faith, Lord Kṛṣṇa, in the first verse of this chapter ordered Arjuna to listen to His supreme word. So Arjuna, expresses his faith in

His words by using the term, 'Rṭam' (True).

'Na hi te bhagavanvyaktiṁ vidurdevā na dānavāḥ'—O Lord, You declared (in Gītā 4/5), 'Arjuna, you and I, have passed through many births. I know them all, while you don't.' Similarly, You declared (in Gītā 10/2), 'Neither the gods nor the great sages, know the secret, of My birth.' Thus, Arjuna believes as true, whatever the Lord declared about His manifestation. Though the gods, possess divine power, yet that power is perishable. So the gods cannot know, His manifestation. As far as, demons are concerned, they possess uncommon magical and fraudulent power, by which they cannot know the Lord's manifestation, because He, being eternal and limitless, cannot be known by perishable and limited power, of demons. It means, that the Lord cannot be known, by the power of men, gods and demons, because their power belongs to matter, while He is beyond Matter. Renunciation, dispassion, austerity and study of the scriptures etc., can purify the mind, but cannot enable a man, to know the Lord. The Lord, can be known, by His grace to the devotee who having exclusive devotion, depends on Him, only.

Appendix—No one can know God through his own endeavours, but He can be known only by His own grace—

'soi jānaī jehi dehu janāī, jānata tumhahi tumhal hoi jāi. tumharihi kṛpā tumhahi raghunandana, jānahiṁ bhagata bhagata ura candana. (Māṇasa 2/127/2)

God is beyond the reach of miracles and occult powers and also scientific inventions.

(10.172) इसी तरह, किसी ने वेद-शास्त्रों का आलोचन किया है, अथवा योग आदि का अभ्यास किया है, ऐसा तभी समझा जा सकता है जब श्रीगुरु अनुकूल हो। (10.173) इस प्रकार अनुभव के आये हुए नशे में अर्जुन श्रद्धान्वित हो अनेक प्रकार नाचने लगा, और कहने लगा कि हे देव! आपके वचन मुझे स्वीकृत हुए;
