She separately exists as Sri, Bhu, Durga etc. Uma, Saraswati and other Jivas are her partial manifestations. “Sri, Bhu, Durga are the three forms of illusion that bind Jivas and the World. Uma, Vac (Saraswati) and others even though distinct Jivas, since they partial manifestation of Sri in Agama, they are also known as Sri” thus in Kashayana scripture. मम योनि means not the mother, but the feminine sakti existing to accept the seed of consciousness from the Supreme Lord and give birth to all life forms. “For giving birth by Sri Vishnu Sri Lakshmi, the great Maya, is devoid of all miseries. But along with Sri Vishnu she displays as if she is in misery for deluding the ignoble people”, thus in Sharkarakshya section of Samaveda. An examples is the sorrow of Sita which is merely a performance. “Bhu is distinct and the Earth is but her reflection. Even though she (the earth) is the last among the five elements, she is the origin of all the elements”, thus in Sankaryana scripture. “She accepted servitude willingly even though she is the grandmother of all the worlds”, thus in Anabhimaan Shruti. “Both Prakriti and the great Lord are both known as mahad Brahma”, even thus in Matsya Puraana.

“योनिर्भायां तथा स्थानं योनिः कारणमेव च | इति शब्दनिर्णये || अत्र योनिर्भायां - तस्मिन् गर्भं दधाम्यहम् || इति वाक्यशेषात् ||” – There are three meanings for the word योनिः - wife, female generative organ and the cause. Here योनिः means wife, because special use in the sentence – ‘in that womb I give birth’.

English4 *'In all the (several) wombs, O Son of Kunti, the concrete manifestations that spring up: of them the 'Gross-Brahman' is the (Primal) Womb, and I the seed-implanting Father.* (116)
For this reason, Oh Son of Pāndu, I am the Father, and the Gross-Brahman (Māyā) the mother, and the entire universe, the off-spring. Don't get confounded in your mind at seeing the diverse bodies in the world, since the mind and the intellect in all the beings, are in principle one and the same. Are there not different organs in one and the same body? In that way this universe, although manifested in different forms, is in principle all one and the same. Branches high and low, even and uneven, (of a tree) are all created from one and the same seed: or an earthen pot is the child of clay or the (checkered) cloth the grand-child of cotton; or in the way the diverse waves become the progeny of the sea-in a similar relationship I stand to the entire universe. In the way fire and flames are but one fire, in that same relationship, I stand towards the entire universe. Were my form (essence) suppressed as a result of the creation of the universe, then by whose glory (splendour) does the world expand and project itself? Can a ruby be lost in its own lustre? Does gold lose its gold-properties by its conversion into ornaments? Or does a lotus lose its lotus-qualities by its getting fully opened? Do tell me, Oh Dhananjaya does the body (possessor of organs) cease to be perceptible because of its organs or does it (body) exist in the body-form (with the organs) by itself? When a grain of *Jwāri* (a kind food grain) is sown and it germinates and sprouts, yielding an ear of corn, can we say it has exhausted itself; is it not rather that it has multiplied (expanded) itself? My form (essence) is not such as could be viewed separately by laying aside (the curtain of) the universe. This entire universe, in and out, is all my own self. Keep this pure and definite knowledge firmly fixed in your mind. (True) I make myself felt as abiding separately in different body-forms, but it is because I have (by my own doings) got myself fettered by the Gunas, Oh, you having a monkey-banner hoisted on your chariot, just as one gets up in a dream and experiences his own death (in the dream itself), or just as one suffering from jaundice, has his eyes turned yellow and everything he sees appears to him yellow, or just as the clouds could be seen with the rising of the Sun, while the screening of the Sun himself by the clouds also becomes perceptible with the same sunlight, or as one should feel afraid of the shadow cast by himself, raising the question if he himself is distinct from the shadow—in all these ways, I give rise to diversities by displaying myself in different body-forms. There is also one restriction in this and hear about it. The question whether I am fettered or emancipated arises out of ignorance as regards the form of one's own self. Therefore, O divine Arjuna, do hear by what Guna I get myself fettered. You do hear the secret of all this viz. how many Gunas there are, what are their properties, their characteristic colour and names, and also from where they come into being.

English'Sarvayoniṣu kaunteya mūrtayaḥ sambhavanti yāḥ'—All beings
born from a womb, such as men and animals etc., born from eggs, such as birds and snakes etc., born from sweat, such as louse etc., and sprouting forth from the earth, such as plants and vegetation etc., having different shapes and of different species, including the gods, manes, devils, ghosts and other evil spirits etc., are included, in the term 'Sarvayoniṣu mūrtayāḥ', (all the species).
A poet, has rightly said, that a turban, luck, speech, personal nature, shape, sound, thoughts and writing, are not similar, even of two persons. In eighty-four lac species, so many beings since eternity have taken birth, but their shapes are different from one another.
'Tāsām brahma mahadyōnirahām bijapradaḥ pitā'—The primordial Matter, is the Mother of all beings, that take birth from different sources, as mentioned above, while God is the seed-giving father. The bodies, of different colours and shapes, are constituted of matter, while the spirit dwelling in them, is a portion of the Lord. The Lord Himself, declares, 'Know Myself to be the Kṣetrajña (Spirit), in all the Kṣetras (bodies)' (Gītā 13/2). This can be clarified, by giving an illustration of a piece of cloth, which is wet. In the piece of cloth there are many minute holes. If it is soaked in, water it permeates, all the holes, equally. In this illustration, the piece of cloth denotes matter (Prakṛti), each of the holes denotes a body and the water, which permeates the holes and the cloth denotes God. It means, that God permeates all bodies and the entire, universe. Though in different bodies He seems different like water in holes.
**Appendix**—Eighty-four lac wombs, gods, manes, celestial singers, ghosts, evil spirits, demons, devils, moving and unmoving creatures, water creatures, land creatures, birds, creatures born from the womb, creatures born from eggs, plants etc., sprouting from the ground, creatures born of perspiration etc.,—all should be included within the term 'sarvayoniṣu'. The same fact has been mentioned in the sixth verse of the seventh chapter by the
expression 'etadyonīni bhūtāni sarvāṇityupadhāraya' and in the twenty-sixth verse of the thirteenth chapter by the expression, 'yāvatsañjāyate kiñcitsattvam sthāvarajaṅgamam'.
Here the term 'mūrti' means body. Within this concrete-abstract, manifest-unmanifest—both kinds of bodies should be included. The earth, water and fire are manifest. Air and ether are unmanifest. The bodies of ghosts, demons and evil spirits etc., are also unmanifest as in their bodies there is predominance of air.
The Lord in the first and the second verses declared that if a man (the Self) has no affinity with 'Prakṛti', he is free from birth and death and in the third and the fourth verses He declared that by having affinity with 'Prakṛti', he has to follow the cycle of birth and death. The same fact (mentioned in the third and fourth verses) has been described in detail ahead from the fifth verse to the eighteenth verse.
Link:—In the next verse, the Lord explains how the guṇas (modes of nature), evolved from prakṛti, bind the spirit.

Hindi(14.117) अतएव दे पाण्डुसुत!

Whatever forms that are generated into existence from the wombs of devas, demons, human, animal, birds, reptile, fish, etc. all manifest from the great womb of inanimate existence within the Brāhman or spiritual substratum pervading all existence
and is known as prakṛti the material substratum pervading physical existence by dint of its modifications known as the three guṇas of sattva or goodness, Rājas or passion and tamas or nescience.
These modifications manifest due to circumstances based on the individual karma of unlimited jīvas or embodied beings who are embedded by the Supreme Lord with the animate aspect known as the ātma or immortal soul.
This is the cause of all created beings and thus Lord Krishna is thus the father of all.
The primary reason for such diverse generating of jīvas will be given next.
