- He who propitiates Sri Vishnu considering other gods as His wards and therefore subservient to Him, such one is known as ananya-yogi, sincere single minded Yogi. Since He had said earlier said antavattu phalam tesham - temporary is the fruit for those who propitiation other gods. Here the query is regarding the worship of Sri alone. Because Sri is close to the Lord, the doubt about worshipping her is being specially clarified.

6 "But those who dedicate all actions unto Me, and with Me as their goal, render service unto Me, meditating upon Me in single-pointed concentration (in Yoga):
7 "Of them I become the Liberator from the Ocean of Death and Mundane Existence, in no length of time, O Son of Pṛthā; of them whose thoughts are rooted in Me. (76)
There are those who perform regularly—with pleasure and with the help of their senses of action, actions (duties) falling to their lot as prescribed by the four-castes-religion, following the Scriptures (Codes), abandoning all forbidden actions, and burning all the action-fruit by dedicating it all to me; and further who undoing all their actions also thus dedicating them all to me, and taking no other direction than the one towards me, ignoring the urge of all contrary feelings and sentiments issuing from the body, the tongue, and mind—they thus worship me uninterruptedly and they have become my very home on account of their meditation of me—they that are wholly bent upon establishing communion with me by means of great devotion, leaving off other frail and poor clients (कुळे) like enjoyment of sense-objects and emancipation etc.—such persons as have, with single-pointed devotion, entrusted to me exclusively their very life, mind, and body—how could I speak about them? What words can adequately describe my feelings towards them? In fine I have got to do all they wish for. Briefly speaking, Oh Dhanurdhara, need it be said, how dear a child is to the mother, the child which is born of her? In that way the devotees are dear to me as (to the extent) they are devoted to me. I have as it were taken out a charter to protect my devotees, defeating their enemies. But even without that, the very idea of my devotees being plunged into anxiety for the welfare of their family appears ludicrous. Does the wife of a great (rich) one ever have to go abegging for undressed corn (कोरान)? Similarly my devotees are (like) my wife (body), I feel my honour is at stake whenever they (devotees) are likely to suffer disgrace. Seeing the waves of birth and death storming over the entire world, I fear, my devotees would get frightened, for who is there who would not get confused with fear in the tumult of the ocean of world affairs? Therefore, O Son of Pandu, I come in haste (from time to time) to their places assuming different forms of incarnations. My different names (such as Rāma, Krishna, and others) are, know it, (as it were) thousands of small boats, and keeping them ever ready in the ocean of world affairs, I have become the saviour (of the devotees). Such (of those devotees) as are quite unattached, get clung into protection through meditation while those who are attached to worldly affairs are put on board the small boats. Floats (पेटी) in the form of affection are tied under the bellies of some, and in this way I take all my devotees, over to the other bank in the form of absorption into the essence of Brahman (सायुज्य). Even the four-legged animals that become my devotees are placed in the higher grade in the empire of Vaikuntha (the abode of Lord Vishnu). Therefore, there remains not a single (cause of) anxiety for my devotees: I am ever ready for their protection. And the moment they dedicate their minds to me, they (make me) join and take part in all their sport of worldly affairs. Therefore, O Dhanurdhara, you should commit to your memory the hymn (dictum) that it is only when one follows the path of devotion, that one becomes a great devotee.

English'Teṣāmahaṃ samuddhartā mṛtyusaṃsārasāgarāt bhavāmi nacirātpārtha mayyāveśitacetāsām'—'Mayyāveśitacetāsām', are those strivers, whose aim is only God-realization, whose minds are exclusively set on Him, and who themselves remain absorbed in Him.
As an ocean consists of nothing but water, so there is nothing, but death in the world. Nothing in the world is immune, from the buffets of death. Everything is perishing (dying) all the time. So the world has been called an ocean of death-bound existence.
In his daily life man, is bound to face both desirable and undesirable circumstances. Feelings of agreeableness and
disagreeableness towards him are inherent in a man. Through such feelings he develops for attachment and aversion, for them. Thus he gets bound (Gītā 7/27). Even strivers, become a prey to attachment and aversion, by being attached to their own sects and saints, and by having aversion to the other sects and saints and so they cannot cross the ocean of death-bound existence, quickly. Partiality to sects, is delusion, which binds a man. So the Lord, has laid special emphasis on the freedom from pairs of opposites time and again.*
A striver, whose all likes are centred in God has exclusive devotion in God; and all his dislikes are centred in the world viz., by rendering selfless service, he renounces the desire for favourable circumstances, he can be very easily liberated, from the bondage, of the world.
The Lord rewards, men in whatever way, they approach Him (Gītā 4/11). So He declares, that He is same to all beings (Gītā 9/29). But to those, who love him only, who perform all actions, only for Him and who looking upon Him, as the supreme goal, ever remain absorbed in chanting His name, thinking of Him, and meditating on Him, He straightway delivers, them from the ocean of death-bound existence.†
**Appendix**—In the fifth verse of the sixth chapter the Lord stated for a common striver that he should emancipate himself by his ownself—'uddharedātmanātmānaṁ' but here He declares, 'I emancipate them from the ocean of death-bound
* Free from dualities (2/45) (5/3); freed from the delusion of dualities (7/28); liberated from dualities (15/5); neither an aversion to disagreeable action nor an attachment to an agreeable one (18/10); casting aside attraction and aversion (18/51).
† The terms 'Samuddhartā bhavāmi' also include the ideas that a devotee who worships God with attributes, crosses (overcomes) all obstacles by His grace and attains Him (Gītā 18/56—58); God takes up all the burdens and cares of His devotees (Gītā 9/22); 'Out of compassion for them, I, dwelling within their Self, destroy the darkness born of ignorance' (Gītā 10/11); 'I liberate them from all sins' (Gītā 18/66).
world”—‘teṣāmaham samuddhartā’. It means that first a striver starts his spiritual practice himself. Out of those strivers he, who depends on God, God liberates him from the bondage because he has this faith in God, that He would liberate him. He without worrying for his emancipation, remains engrossed in adoring God. His means and end—both are only God. But the striver, who follows the Discipline of Knowledge, he himself is responsible for his emancipation.
On Self-realization, devotion is attained—this is not the rule; but having attained devotion, the self is certainly realized. Therefore the Lord declares—
mama darasana phala parama anūpā
(Mānasa, Araṇya, 36/5)
God confers on his devotees both Karmayoga (equanimity) and Jñānayoga viz., destroys their ignorance—born of darkness (Gītā 10/10-11) because God designated as Bhagavān is entire by nature.
Because of body-consciousness the striver, who follows the path of knowledge, his mind is attached to the Unmanifest—‘avyaktāsaktacetāsām’ (Gītā 12/5). But a devotee’s mind is fixed on (Bhagavān) God—‘muyyāveśītacetāsām’. In the Path of Knowledge, discrimination is important while in devotion for faith (belief) is important. In the Path of Knowledge ‘aparā prakṛti’ is to be renounced, while in devotion it is the manifestation of God itself.
*Link:— In the second verse, the Lord declared that the devotees who worship God with attributes, are the most perfect in Yoga, while in the sixth and the seventh verses He declared that, He delivers such devotees from the ocean of death-bound existence. Therefore, the Lord now commands Arjuna to become perfect in*
*Yoga, by fixing his mind and intellect on Him, as He describes, in the eighth verse; or through practice of concentration, or through performance of actions for His sake, or through the renouncement of fruit of actions, as He describes, in the ninth, the tenth and the eleventh verses, respectively.*

HindiOn verses 12.6–12.7
Swami Ramsukhdas · Modern
Actions are of two types:
One is worldly activities undertaken to maintain and progress the material existence of the physical body such as obtaining food and shelter and material development.
The other is spiritual activities enjoined by the injunctions of the Vedic scriptures such as propitiation to the Supreme Lord, absence of violence to any living being, charity, etc. in short every act without an ulterior motive and without a hopeful gain.
Whosoever being spiritual minded without any motive except for satisfying the Supreme Lord Krishna and without any desire of seeking anything in return from Him,
who offer all their activities as devotion to Him, keeping Him alone as their sole goal and in one-pointed devotion focus their meditation on Him fully
while worshipping Him in all their activities such as chanting His holy names, glorifying Him, offering prayers to Him, prostrating before His deity form, hearing about His Līlās or divine pastimes, enlightening others about His glories, etc. as the be all and end all of all existence itself.
To such devotees as these who always are in communion with Lord Krishna in their hearts and minds, He Himself personally becomes their saviour by being their samuddhartā or deliverer from mṛtyu-saṃsāra-sāgarāt or the deadly ocean of the perpetual cycle of birth and death
which is the principle barrier which stops the ātma's or eternal souls of all jīvas or embodied from attaining Him when the end of each physical life has transpired.
