भूतग्रामः स एवायं भूत्वा भूत्वा प्रलीयते
रात्र्यागमेऽवशः पार्थ प्रभवत्यहरागमे
॥ ८.१९ ॥
Arjuna, this multitude of beings, being born again and again, is dissolved under compulsion (i of its nature at the coming of the cosmic ¥ night, and rises again at the commencement t of the cosmic day
