Where am I grieving for what does not perish?
य एनं वेत्ति हन्तारं यश्चैनं मन्यते हतम्
उभौ तौ न विजानीतो नायं हन्ति न हन्यते
॥ २.१९ ॥
They are both ignorant, he who knows the soul to be capable to killing and he who takes it as killed; for verily the soul neither kills, nor is killed.
